Why forty days? Forty has special significance in the Bible as the time needed to prepare to step into a new season. Consider the following:
It rained for forty days and forty nights when God destroyed the world with flooding water (Genesis 7:12).
Moses was on the mountain with God for forty days and nights (Exodus 34:29).
The children of Israel wandered in the desert for forty years (Exodus 16:35).
Jesus fasted for forty days in the wilderness before beginning His ministry (Matthew 4:2).

There are more than 200 diets on the market today that promise to be the perfect fix for you to lose weight. You will be happy to know that I am not going to add another diet to the list. Rather, I am going to use known scientific principles of how to eat to be slim and healthy for life,
There are no prescribed meals in this book and no recipes. You get to choose what you eat, following certain nutritional principles. There are thousands of recipes online for you to choose from, and it was not my intention to add filler to this book, so I purposely left them out.
